Some people talk about chasing their dreams. Mish actually got on a plane.
In 2017, the Australian-born DJ and producer packed up her life and moved to the Netherlands – the birthplace of hardstyle – because she wanted to be where the music lives. No connections, no guaranteed bookings, no safety net. Just a love for hard dance and the guts to go all in.
That bet paid off in a big way.
The Rise
Since her breakout in 2020, Mish has gone from newcomer to one of the most recognizable names in the scene. Solo tracks like “Hypnotised”, “Tell Me Why”, “Rave In Paradise” and “I Go Hard” showed she had her own voice – raw, powerful, and impossible to ignore.
Then came the collaborations with Sickmode and Krowdexx. Tracks like “Time To Shine”, “Rave Love”, “One and Only” and “Hate Or Love It” weren’t just releases – they were statements. The 2023 album Rave Love Pt.2 with Sickmode turned heads across the entire hard dance world. “One and Only” alone has now passed 10 million streams.
Making History
Mish became the first female rawstyle artist to perform at Tomorrowland. Let that sink in for a second. In a genre that’s been around for over two decades, she was the one who broke through that barrier.
And it didn’t stop there. Defqon.1, EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields, Parookaville, Knockout Outdoor, Beyond Wonderland – her name keeps showing up on the biggest lineups on every continent. She’s not just performing at these festivals. She’s owning them.
The Dirty Workz Chapter
When we announced that Mish was joining the Dirty Workz family, it felt like a natural fit. Her energy, her attitude, her approach to music and content – it all matches what we’re about.
Her debut release on the label, “DETONATE“, dropped with a videoclip that’s pure Mish: fun, confident, and a little bit cheeky. If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favor and hit play.
Some of you may have caught a little teaser during our Ultra Music Festival hosting earlier this year. That was just the warm-up. This summer, Mish joins our Dirty Workz hosting at Dropzone in Croatia.
From a one-way flight to the Netherlands to headlining festivals worldwide – Mish’s story is far from over. But we’re very happy it includes Dirty Workz now.
